help please

how do i get my truck loud and to smoke more 7.3 turbo

Loud is easy. Replace the muffler with a piece of straight pipe.

Why do you want it to smoke? Black smoke is unburned fuel - kills mileage and wastes $$.

Any other color of smoke is a problem like burning oil or poor fuel atomization, or whatever. None of which equal a good thing....

I agree with Cheaper. Smoke is uncool and just accelerates the path to more regulation for the rest of us. That said...to each his own.

i dont know the regs out there any more, but back here in the east the state regs are getting pretty strict about smoke. If you're smokin you're payin twice -- excessive usage and a stiff fine for polution.
Also, back here in PA the noise regs state that if a turbo is on the vehicle engine, it will act as a noise attenuating device and you are good to go with straight pipes.
