I have always liked the ’73-’79 trucks. I am considering trying to pickup a ’73-’79 F250 4X4. My plan for the truck would include snowplow duty of just a couple driveways, some towing (single car trailer) and maybe some very light off road work. I had a chance to buy what was probably the perfect truck for this several years ago. My brother in law had a ’76 F250 4X4 with a 428 in place of the 360, 4:88 gears. It only got about 8mpg but it had major power!! AND I HAD TO PASS ON IT!!!
