The eastest way is to look at the ID plate on the glove box door. Look at the model number and the final letter is the engine code. It should look like F100* with * being the engine code. My 60 manual list the following codes:
B 292 MD (export only)
C 292 MD
D 292 MD
E 292 (export only)
F 332 HD
J 223
N 302 HD
P 401 SD
Q 447 SD
R 534 SD
I don't think that they changed engine codes every year so these should be good for a 58, but I could be wrong.

Thanks Bob but I do not have an ID plate on my glove box. I have not found one on the truck, There are no holes where an ID plate would have been mounted on the glove box.
