valve stem lash caps
I have a 1981 Ranger with a 302 engine. It has a 2150 carb. The engine had a leaking head gasket. I removed both heads. There are caps on the valve stems. A couple fell off when I was working on it and are lost. I need to know if the caps are interchangeable and where I can find replacements.

I've seen them on some of the earlier heads I think they have something to do with the exhaust valves spinning.
Are they on all the valves or just the exhaust? seems to me they are just on the exhaust valve and they are interchangable, they should be all the same thickness.
But, I may be wrong others will know more..................
