plugs fouled
Truck started running rough today. Pulled all 8 plugs, everyone of them were black and wet. Smelled like gas. Last fill up I added BG44K. Is this oil blow by, a carb problem or tune up issue. Don't know when or if any work was done on the carb. Holley 600 electric choke.

Or possibly something in a needle and seat. With good plugs, start it and see if gas is dripping down into the front or rear barrels while it is idling. If so, then you either have a sunk float or (more likely) a small piece of debris in one of the needle and seats causing the carb to flood.

Pulled the front needle, cleaned and replaced. All is well. Check for this was start engine,let it run for 20 seconds, turn it off, with air filter off look down carb if gas continues to flow there is a problem with a needle. Thanks for the replies. I just bought this truck and love every minute of it.
