I usually hang out in the 61-79 forum, but this question needs to be asked here. I may have the chance to get my hands on a 59 F-500, or 600- something like that (I can't remember)- but my question is: are the cab/front clip parts on these trucks the same as on the F-100's? I will need to replace some items if I get it- just wondering how hard they will be to come by.
Don't really know why I even want the truck- but hey, it's another ford!
Thanks in advance for the help.

OK- I'll try to ask my question a little more clearly. The truck looks like it is basically a 59 F-100 cab on a big frame. Is that what it is? For instance, is the hood the same on the F-100 and F-500? Are the fenders the same? or is the F-500 a "scaled up" version?
still weighing the option of another project....

Thanks! I knew they looked similar, but not having an F-100 to reference, I did not know for sure.
The truck is an F-600. I still haven't decided if I want to undertake the project, but at least now I have a better idea of what I'll be looking at.
