tranny goes out
99 f-350 diesel My truck stared doing this . i will take off and go about 200 feet and then the tranny just quits ,like it goes into neutral ,i can shut the truck off and restart and it will do the same thing there is no feal of clutch slipping or strange sounds it just stops, any position i put the shifter in has no effect could it be a speed sensor ? Please help

I assume this is an automatic. Is the OD light flashing on the shifter? You should be setting some codes in the PCM. You need to read the codes and they will tell you where to start. One of the transmission gurus will chime in here soon to point you in the right direction.
