I have seen a "new single piece steel visor" for a '57-'60 advertised in Hemmings Motor News listed under "Trucks and commercial vehicles parts". I beleive this is the original sheet metal piece above the windshield.
I would strongly suggest the readers of this conference go to www.lmctruck.com and get a copy of their catalog. This is another great addition for those of us who are trying to find parts like this. They not only have the visors, but the complete cab carpet kit, headliners, arm rests, etc. I do most of my business with Carpenter Reproductions, but this source has a lot of stuff I haven't seen elsewhere.

Hey, thanks a lot for the info. I just ordered their catalog. They said I'll receive it in 2 weeks. I've always had good dealings with Dennis Carpenter Reproductions, but maybe I'll find something I need that he don't have. I'm currently going nuts trying to find the inner workings for the horn ring on my '59. All the catalogs I've seen only carry the parts for the horn button.

Kenny.
When you get your catalog, drop me a line and let me know what you think. I only refer companies when I've had personal experience with them. I don't think you are going to be dissapointed.
