What do you think is the going price for a 1959 f-250 4x4? It is just that you don't really see them, and they are kind of an important link in the evolution of modern trucks. They seem rare. Does anyone know how many were made?
Depends on the Condition, 1st of all & then you can about triple the price of what a normal 4x2 would bring, that's in the same condition.
Other than it's the 1st time 1 of the Big 3 manufatures a 4x4 out of its own facilities, 4x4's were farmed out to business's that specialized in this specific conversion.

It depends on condition, the equipment on the truck and location plus what the seller and buyer agree upon.
Check with the old car guide publications for some idea of the average price but that can be alot different for your location.
One guide from Oct. 06 lists the price from $680 for a poor parts truck #6 condition to $17,000 for a better than new restoraton being a #1. That`s for a 6 cylinder 118'' WB Flareside 2 wh drive PU plus 10% for a V8 model.
It's worth the cash you get. Generally speaking, it seems as if 3/4 tons don't bring the price a 1/2 ton will. Probably due to the 3/4 tons being lower-geared, heavier, less fuel efficient, etc.
