T-case Busted In Half

T-case Busted In Half

Hello,

I Just Bought A 93 One Ton 4 Door 5 Speed 7.3 Factory Turbo And The T-case Is Literaly Busted In Half Completely. The Only Thing Holding It Together Is The Chain. I Have A 91 7.3 Banks Turboed F-250 And I Have Tore The T-case Up In It A Couple Of Times But Never The Outer Case Itself. Anybody Have Any Idea Why It Would Brake The Case In Half Like This?

the only time that happened to me is when Someone moved the road (they change over night in strip mines.)and I did belly flop on downed tree. No other damage but split tranfer wide open.

Thanks for the reply, I finally got a chance to put her back together. I ended up using the gears out of the broke in half case and happened to have another case laying around. so everything turned out fine.
