351W EFI Buildup

I have a tired 351W in my '90 F150 4x4. I will be rebuilding it shortly and want to add some performance items to it. I have build carb'd engines but never an EFI. What can or can't be done (ie cam, pistons compression, etc.) without messing with the computer. I know that almost anything can be done for the right price but I am interested in a fairly simple rebiuld, new cam for more torque. Any thoughts or ideas would be helpful.

Port the heads and drop a cam in it, the basic requirement for the SD efi is that the cam have at least a 114 lobe seperation angle. My cam and the 35-255-5 are a couple good options. Google "porting E7's " for tips on working the heads. Outside that, a good exhaust system is a given, and gearing matched to the tires you run and the loads you carry.
