1960 F-100

I am still investigating the removal of the fuel tank from the cab. Thought I would re-post hoping to find someone that has done a fuel tank changeout on the '60'.

If you have made a change and frame mounted the tank/tanks, please contact me. I am almost ready to start reassembly of vehicle with a 352 FE and a C-6. Both have been rebuilt already and I am presently doing the Toyota Steering Box Conversion.

if you go on the classic performance products website they show pic of them installing a gas tank under the bed on a short bed 1960 ford truck. Im looking to do the same on my 58 ford truck.

Check my gallery, I have the 20 gal Mustang tank. Some frame/crossmember trimming is required the way I did mine. Very similiar to JNiolin, who has written an article on the subject. Can someone tell us where that article is?
