Clutch Slave
1980 F-250 HD 4WD XLT. Am thinking of buying this truck, but it will need the clutch hydraulic system overhauled. Looking under the truck, I couldn't see the clutch slave cylinder. What is involved in changing it on these rigs?

If the truck is a 5 speed it involves pulling the transmission. The slave cylinder is "direct acting" as in it directly applies force to the throwout bearing to disengage the clutch, no clutch fork involved like with the older trucks.
