6.0 high miles
I just bought my first diesel new 06 f250 6.0.My dad has the 7.3 and I have seen many 7.3's with 300k im curious what i can exspect out of the 6.o and what kind of miles do u guys have or have seen.

Welcome to FTE kcduece25! There are lots of folks that have put tons of miles on their 6.0's. I only have 22K on mine, but I'm sure someone else will chime in shortly.

I have an 05 350 dually with about 55000 on it and it still runs great. Have a few buddies with older ones like around 03-04 and none of them have had any engine trouble. I think these engines will easily make their 250,000 mile mark.

I think the motor itself will go as long as the 7.3s or longer, Its just keeping all the emission crap together. But ive heard of some with 200,000 - 300,000 going strong, and those were 03-04s. You just cant use them as a grocery getter
