I would like to know if there is some sort of kit that a guy could get to install drl on a 1986 F150. I must do this in order to comply with regs in alberta. Would like to find somthing that is fairly simple.
I am surprised that the reg's in Alberta require the use of DRL in a vehicle that didn't have them equipped or require them when manufactured. This would be the equivalent of putting seat belts on a model T . Wouldn't it?
If it is so then I'm going to take a trailer to Alberta and buy a pile of old trucks.

Actually it's a Canadian Law for DRL's.
Alberta has nothing to do with it.
I am not aware of any law that makes vehicle made before DRL's were law that have to have them.
I drive with my headlights on to make my Battery last longer.
