White plugs.. yeah that's not good they should have a little color. Changing the fuel pressure is a temporary fix, the computer will adjust for that withing a pretty short period of time. Check for codes, and tell us the running condition of the motor..idles smoothly? Does it ping under load? fuel milage?
The only difference between your 5.0 and your sister's '95 is the cam in the motor. Your's will run at least as well as her's with the right cam. The CompCams 31-255-5 or 35-255-5 are good choices, the only difference is the firing order but both will work fine in your 5.0.

the truck was ideling smooth ther are no trouble codes coming up no pinging the only thing it does weird is if you stop real quick on a hill or when goofin around and let off the throttle real quick it stalls also is it normal when you first start it in morning it revs real hi then ideles down then it will rev back up when you put it in gear tell its warmed up

Chances are you have a dirty IAC(Idle Air Control) valve. It's right on the side of the throttle body. Unbolt it and clean it out with carb cleaner and a brush. If you remove the actuator the plunger should move freely.
