idles rough when warm
I have a 1998 f150 with a 4.2 and once the truck warms up it will idle rough. You can hear a popping noise through the K&N cold air intake as well as through the exhaust. You can feel how rough it idles through the whole body and it seems to only do this when its at a complete stop in drive or park. It doesnt seem to effect it once accelerating, but it might be a bit slugish. It also doesnt do this all the time but most of the time it does and varies between a little rough and really rough and the truck has 215000 km

There may be an air leak at one..intake..runner.
A vacuum gage test could detect this and be found with some kind of fluid spray around the..intake..while watching the gage and how the engine responds.
