Rear End
Does anyone know if the rear from a 1959 Ford car with a V-8 will fit my 58 F-100 with straight 6 ? I have a low rear end and am trying to find a cheap fix to run at highway speeds. Any other rears that will work? Thanks.

the center sections should interchange. If you can get the complete rearend, street rodders will ****** it up as soon as you put it up for sale. It is one of the narrowest 9" rearends made and will fit under a lot of earlier hot rods. This should pay for the expense of the gear swap. I have seen those housings with axles(no gears) go for $300 quickly at swap meets.
