Navigation/DVD Player?

Can you play DVD movies on the F150 navigation system? My 07 SCrew has the factory navigation system that is DVD-ROM based. Of course I think about it when I'm away from my truck for a couple of weeks because of work. Has anyone tried playing a movie in their system?
Thanks

it is illegan for OEM equipment to play animated information on a screen visible to the driver ( except navigation aids)

some aftermarket screens can be bootlegged to think the vehicle is not in motion.

but i am confident the factory nav unit will not play a dvd

Dear Wyo351,

The factory navigation system from Ford will not play Dvd's. Brandmotion however, does offer a DVD player for the F 150 rail, if you are looking for a DVD player. Please call 877-276-6456.
