Gas Leak!

I have a 96 f150 with a 351 auto. In the front tank there is a small gas leak. It shows a small spot on my garage floor over about 2 days. Is replacing the tank my only option?

Can you see/find the hole? Does it look like it came from inside (rust, corrosion) or from the outside (salt corrosion, rock damage, worn spot)? If you can see it,you can make a better decision. LOSTIN90s is right, if you are going to pull the tank, look for another tank and at least know where one is in case you end up needing it. Rust or corrosion from the inside is a good indication to replace it. A worn spot would depend on the extent and prevention of it as to the replacement or repair. A small hole from a rock or debry you might fix with a screw and some epoxy. Clean the spot good if you try any epoxies. Location of replacement parts is a good idea if it gets ugly.
