Might be safer if you have a garage and put the truck in there with windows down and use a bomb. Make sure the water heater pilot is off.

The bug bomb I use with very good results is the Raid Fumigator. It comes in two packs for something like $12. One can will handle a good sized room so it may be over kill for your truck. That is why I said put it in the garage, you kill two birds, uh bugs with one stone.

This stuff makes smoke not spray. The smoke gets into every crack and crevice and bugs will literally come out of the wood work. I used it years ago on a rental. You could not see many bugs before treatment. But after, the floor was covered with thousands of bugs that had crawled out to die. I still use the stuff at home and in my trailer. It kills everything.

Follow directions, the fumes can kill you too, so you want to follow the time guidelines and air that truck out really good before you spend a lot of time in it.

Good Luck,

Jim Henderson

You're not gonna do much with a bug bomb. Spiders aren't insects and they don't react to the same chemicals. Besides, if you have more than 1 I'd question the rest of your truck. Spiders don't swarm, they don't congregate in large groups, but they do live in the same place they find food - sometimes that's each other though.

Setting off a bug bomb in your truck would pretty much make the inside of your truck toxic to YOU - they're intended for 500+ sq ft spaces not a 10 sq ft truck cab.

Park the truck in the bright sun, put the heater on low, and let it run for an hour with the windows up. That should pretty much kill everything inside the cab once it hits 140-160 degrees and under the hood and body.

I'd agree with most of that except I think most insecticides will kill spiders. One does have to wonder how many spiders could be living in a truck...
