Still looking for any ideas on extending my front bumper out a couple of inches?? tires rub once in awhile..does anyone make a kit for a 2006 x?? or possibly any aftermarket bumpers that arent $$$$?? I`m about ready to rent a blowtorch!!!!!! I have 18`s and 35`s on a 6" lift.... or maybe I could just add some longer shackles to raise it??? or will that soften the ride ??
I doubt you are going to find a kit for a 2006 x cause they were never made. but you might be able to tryjust adding a spacer on your wheels. it sounds like the rims you have do not have the correct backspacing for fitting those tires for the truck. try finding a 1/2 spacer plate
Try a winch manufacturer. Most that fit on Super Dutys and install behind the bumper will have a "kit" to allow you to mount the bumper out farther than stock.
If you know someone who is handy with metal, I'm sure they could fabricate a couple blocks for you. The bumper is only held on by 4 bolts next to each tow hook. Put some spacers behind there, get longer bolts and you should be all set.

A spacer would cause the tires and wheels to move outwards.
I am not sure of the brand but one of the aftermarket suspension companies sells the spacer kit.It is about 3/4" thick and moves the bumper out. I used it when I put 22.5 's on my 99 f-550. Gave me that little extra I needed.
