wheels

hey guys

im looking at getting some new rims on the truck its an 89 fullsize with the mag aluminum rims

whats the backspacing on them

It’s easy to check. Just lay the wheel facedown on the ground place a straightedge across it then measure from the lug-nut holes to the bottom of the straightedge

OEM is usually around 3.75"

You will find that you can only get one back-spacing in your lug patterrn. Unless you are planing to get custom made. I always think its funny how the magazines say its so important to check when there are so few choices availble.

I sell wheels all the time own 4 sets of tires that are 5 on 5 1/2 my 15x10's came availble w/ 3.5" 3.75" and 4.5" backspacing my 15x8's have 4" and also are available w/3.5(these were all offerd through us wheel) they also will do the custom offsets if you can wait i purchased a set of black d windows commonly known as rock crawlers w/ only 2"'s of backspacing. By the way if it has 15x7 two wheeldrive mags its 3.75 if they are factory 15x8 its 4
