Broke piston ring
I broke a piston ring in my 95 F350 CC DRW yesterday :-( Only have 209K on it and now I'm trading it for a 2000 F350 CC DRW 4x4 Lariat PSD with 113K on it. Hate to see the old girl go. I'm not that fond of the Super Duty trucks but I guess it will be nice to have the 4x4.

Mechanic friend of mine that is really good with PSDs said he believed that a ring had gone south and it sounded like a little bit of piston rattle comming on. I don't have any physical proof that the ring broke but the sudden amount of blow by that I got was a good indication. So much blow by that it was coming out of the dipstick tube hard enuff to dislodge the dipstick and whisle like a tea kettle.
