Tuning my 351M...
Well I beleive my carb is running rich (by the sound and smell), This is a new engine and carb, which is the stock 2bbl Motorcraft carb. I was wondering if anyone had any advise on how to adjust it. (it has yet to be adjusted.)

Is it rich idling or all of the time.
Make sure the choke opens fully when warmed up
The isle mixture screws on the bottom of the carb, slowly turn them in until the idle starts to slow down, then back them out 1/4 turn. This should be close on the mixture. If you have a vacuum gauge, adjust them out until you get the highest idle vacuum.
