hey dudes. I took off my xlt aluminum trim when i was bringing my truck to get painted. Theres 3 black plastic brackets on the inside of it that attach to the tailgate via 2 or 3 screws on each bracket. Well, stupid me snapped one of my brackets when i was taking it off. Is it possible to glue these things together? if not coudl i get away with just 2 brackets on there? also, i lost the screws that they attach to anyone have any idea what they look like? thanks guys!
They have them at ford. 95 % of all yards I deal with in a 150 mile raidius will not separate this type stuff unless trashed (Bent gate) . But try if you find used one good luck. Take a ride out of city limits always trucks sitting around to buy parts off of. Good luck .I always save this type thing when i part truck out . But all i have is a full panel.
The screws are tork head with washer on them.
There are 2 acorn nuts that are on each end of the panel as well as 6 torqs head screws in the middle. I'd just go rob a old junker truck at a yard. Just so you know the Bronco panel will not work. Only F-150, 250, and 350. Good luck.
