Transfer motor problems...please help.
Hello.
I was changing my transfer motor today but the new one will not go in....I know its the right one but I'm having one hell of a time putting in the new one....is there a trick to getting it in???

If I had to guess, the internal mechanism is not in the location the new motor wants it to be in as far as install and removal goes. Did your old one lock up? If so, maybe what it actually moves is what is not allowing you to install the new unit. Try to turn the gear a bit on the unit using the OEM system. Plug it in, ground it if needed, then operate the 4X4 switch to turn the gear a tad.
