Front axle

I would like to know before I tear these apart if the front disc brakes off a 1977 dana 44 F-250 would fit an original 59 F-250 front axle. I know I could swap the whole thing but was trying to save work cause the gears are different.

i have a 59 f 350 some on put lockouts on it they dont work . do you know anything.

I have not found out anything yet but it appears to me the the 59 diff is slightly smaller than the 44. I'm gonna assume that it's a dana 35. I guess I'll swap in the newer front diff. What else would you like to know?
