I Can Stop Again!
My vacuum pump has been going out for quite some time and it finally died a couple of months ago. I just got finished installing a new (rebuilt) one, ($120 
) and now I can stop again! 
No more using both feet and all my weight to bring a one ton crew cab dually to a stop. No more creaking knees and leg joints making me wonder if I'll make it the next time. No more hoping the guy that just cut me off has his affairs in order.
I'm wet, cold, and $150+ dollars poorer, (taxes and new belt too), but I can stop.
