Please, I need help.
I have a eddie bauer 2.007, I would like to do a question.
Where is the "Lateral Accelerometer"?
I say the problem:
My suv was disarmed to be armored, and after they armed it again, the light of the stability control is illuminated when taking any curve, and remains illuminated, and when I verified the problem with the scanner, we could see the code "c1282 lateral accelerometer signal fault".
I think that can be some wiring disconnected in the lateral accelerometer.

Hi Ven, I'm not entirely sure but the accelerometer is part of the Advanced Stability Control (ASC) system for your truck. I don't know where it is located but more than likely it was disconnected during disassembly and not reconnected.
(I think you meant 'taken apart' when you said 'disarmed', but 'disarmed' could also refer to a device like the airbags, which you shoul disarm before working on them or their wiring. Is that what you meant?)
