question on fuel gauge?
not to long after installing my chip from dp tuner i noticed my fuel gauge would read empty if i restarted truck ten it would go to normal. it did this a few times then no problems whatso ever for 6 months now after filling truck my gauge was like it was stuck at a half a tank so i tried restarting to see if that worked and it didnt so i took home and un hooked the batteries and rehooked them up now gauge works again any ideas??

I doubt it has anything to do with the chip just merely coincidence. My fuel guage will sometime stick at 1/4 tank after filling then after a few bumps and a couple restarts it will start reading correctly again. There was a thread with similar happenings a couple months ago, I sure would hate to have to drop the tank to find out if its bad but if you do drop it you could add the hutch/harpoonmodtoyourlist!
