Towing Question
I have a 04 F150 STX 4X4 with the 4.7 It has the trailer two package on it but I think it was added as aftermarket. I am the second owner of the truck and my wife and I want to pick up a 23 foot toy haler this spring. Is their anything that I need to worry about or that I will need to do to the truck? It looks like it has the trans oil cooler on it. Should I get a bigger one?

Your motor would be a 4.6 not a 4.7...
Give us a little more info. What body style? Screw? Scab? Reg Cab?
Bed length?
Gear ratio?
You can look at the door sticker and post the info that's listed on it.
Check your owners manual, that will give you your towing cap. once you know the other info.

Scab 6.5' 4x4 4.6L should weigh roughly 5600 lb wet with usual options.
5600 lb + 200 lb wt distr hitch + 350 lb Driver & Pass = 6150 lb.
500 lb fluids + 800 lb toys + 200 lb cargo + 4000 lb dry trailer (actual not claimed) = 5500 lb
11,650 lb Gross
Hope you are a light packer.

I don't know of a 23-ft Toy Hauler that weighs less than 5000lbs dry. And that is the sticker weight. Might not be actual dry weight.

Carson Fun Runner is the lightest I can think of in the small trailers.
Toy Haulers > Fun Runner FL Front Kitchen
OL = Overall Length
EL= Enclosed Length
CL = Cargo Length
TW = Trailer Weight
T = Tongue Weight
OL 20' 22' 24' 26' 28'
EL 16' 18' 20' 22' 26'
CL 11' 13' 15' 17' 19'
TW
3400 (20)
3600 (22)
3800 (24)
4000 (26)
T 710-790 lbs
GVWR 7000 lbs (All)
Ramp Opening: 94 inches wide, 78 inches high
You are going to be heavier with a generator, pump kit, and A/C.
PS I didnt know how lucky I was with the 15000 GCWR on my 2005 F150 5.4L 3.73.
