Fuel Filter light?
You will need to pull it out, Clean it and all will be well...

Be SURE to place something under the regulator to catch anything that you may drop as it's sometimes a real PAIN to to pull/find things that fall in the valley pan. I use a 2 liter bottle sliced vertically and trim it to fit.
check this site out.. it gets specific and is a great resource for lots of other items as well...

FuelRegulatorScreenCleaning
The fix is simple. Take off the cover over the fuel filter, 1/2 socket does the job. Place a towel or shop rag under the fuel regulator!!!! There are two 10 mm bolts just to the right of the fuel filter, take both out making sure you put them back the way they came out. Gently pry the fuel regulator away from the fuel filter housing, making sure you don't drop the o-ring. You will see a small screen about 1/4 inch. Using a small screwdriver or q-tip w.out the cotton ball on the end, wipe the screen and then put everything back together. The material you get off the screen I have been told is from o-rings. The fix will only take 15 to 20 minutes. If you find the regulator is blocked, clean it, install new fuel filter, and it shouldn't need to be done again for 12 months.
Replace your black cover and you are ready for a test drive to see if you made any difference. You should definitely feel a difference in throttle response. You will actually have more boost pressure.
I've been meaning to get back here and post my results...... I went and cleaned the screen that you mentioned... it was very dirty. I wasn't real happy with how dirty it still was so I purchased a new one through Ford. It was around $75 or so for a kit whick included the screen and some o-rings.
So I put the new screen in and also replaced the fuel filter at the same time. About a 10 minute job from start to finish. I started the truck up and the Fuel Filter light stayed on. It went off after about 20 miles of driving. The next morning I went out and started the truck and the light came back on and has stayed on. What is my next step?
Thanks.

The sender for that light is on the fuel pressure regulator. It is normally open, meaning there is no continuity from ground to the connector on the sender. An ohm meter will tell you if the switch is bad. It is actually a Vacuum switch. When it senses too much vacuum in the filter housing it closes and turns on the light. If you unplug the connector the light in the dash will go out. If not you have a wireing issue. The wire is 'Light Green' all the way to the light in the dash.
You may want to remove it from the fuel pressure regulator and look for blockage in the sender and the FP housing.

Thanks for the tip..... I went out and just wiggled the wire next to the regulator and the light went off and stayed off.... I will still get the ohm meter out and do some tests but at least that light turned off.... Thanks.
