rewiring problem

rewiring problem
i'm rewiring a 78 bronco with a hotrod wires harness and i'm stuck on one last wire. the instructions say to connect this wire to the "alternator energize circuit". i'm pretty sure they don't mean the field or stator wires, is it the battery post on the alternator or the "I" terminal on the voltage regulator?
