I have a cd player that was in one of my old trucks and after 2 days of chasing wires i found i had excessive drain coming from my cd player. I was wondering if there is any way to see if a cd player if bad while it's out of the car? Now that i think about it, it could have been faulty connections or something, I'd love to be able to use it again I'm just not sure i want to risk loseing more batteries and jump starts again!
Ok well i figured it out. when the face plate is attached to the deck it has drain... other wise it doesn't. I'm not sure why this is but i suppose i can just detach the face plate all the time =(
