charging system light on now

okay so the battery light is on and it seems as though the charging is at about 10amps. So everything was okay and then I changed my tranny fluid..jumped into truck fired it up and battery light on...when I'm at speed and rpms are high it turns off..only on when idling...alternator??

oh..and i changed from looked like 70weight in my 5 spd 97 powerstroke to mobile 1 synthetic atf...didn't seem to help synchro..must be that fork!!! trannys gotta come out..

the voltage regulator in the alternator is shot. thats why the light goes out at higher rpms. i had the same problem. replaced alternator, no problems since
