Keyed or constant Power for player
Constant memory power
Ground
electric antenna (if applicable)
speakers.
I prefer to run player to a constant source using coaxial cable (it's shielded) directly to the battery cable side of starter relay.
The ground cable near it on the inner fender.
You can also attach the memory wire to this power feed.
If you wish to have switched power (key on only) then you can tap into the 3-way yellow Y connector behind the instrument cluster.
Grund wire from player can hook-up to coax shielding
or
have it's own ground spot behind dash
The main switchable 12v power for the radio according to my 1975 diagrams is:
Circut #297 - Black/Green Wire.
And Circut #297 BK/GR wire is good for 1973 to 1976.
======
The 12V radio power feed changed in 1977 to: Circut #137 - Yellow/Black Wire.
And Circut #137 Y/BK wire, is good for 1977 to 1979, and into the 80's.
and a word of advise...
Do not mistake the Blue/Red wire as a ground wire. It is for the factory radio dial illumination, if you do ground this wire all your instrument lights will quit working and you will blow the instrument illumination 5A fuse.
