84 ranger 4cyl question

Old Rusty has a leaking water pump. What size 4cyl is it? And anyone have the part number for the pump? Got almost a 100 mile drive one way to Napa and they are Air Heads. Would like to get right pump first time. Boy would that be rare. Thanks

Its either a 2.0 or 2.3, most likely a 2.0. In any event, they use the same water pump. Both engines are identical save their bore.

Thanks Bart. When I called for price and availability they told me it was a 1.somthing and would have to order it. I knew better than that. Now to do some searching for the part number and Rusty will be well pleased.

If you go to the NAPA site it will give you the part # and price for new or remaned pumps
