'Wintergreen oil (methyl salicylate) is the most penetrating of all penetrating oils. It is available at most drugstores at minimal cost. Just thought it may be of interest to some of you.
Be careful, I had some wintergreen oil, the bottle broke. It ate right through the linoleum tile I had in my shop. If you spill it in the house you're wife's gonna be really mad.
I never tried it on bolts. Next time I get some though.
