01 Trailer plug issues

SO I went to rent a trailer today, and when we went to check the lights, only the left turn/stop/hazard will work, ONLY the left side!! I don't understand this, are there seperate fuses maybe for each function? I have used this before towing and everything worked fine.

Thanks

check your contacts and then your grounds sounds like somethings not making contact in the plug or you could have a bad ground on that light

Check the trailer's right side bulb or bulbs? Trailer wired for a Chevy connector (used to make a difference many years ago. Don't know if this still applies now)? Trailer wiring broken on the right side?

We have tested the plug, and there is no juice going to the plugs that should activate the other lights
