Electronic Coolant tempurature(ECT) sensor circuit
Where is this located on a ford 2000 F-150 5.4 triton I need to replace??? (OBD-ll) is reading that its bad have a haynes manual. Can not figure out where it my be located (ECT)Electronic coolant temperture sensor circuit reading low input.Any help will be great soory if I sound DA Like just point me in the right direction thanxs for the help

KingRanchMan02 Yes Sir it read P0117 ill look around there, I did delete the code and engine light has not come back on.I was coming home from up north Michigan thats when e light came on. I checked oil while going over engine and it was realy realy almost could not read low but I run pur syn oil ? would that make that sensor come on do you think just running hot like that ???was running around 80 mph on cruise. The DTC is for "low input" so, I don't think that it was running hot. What did the temp guage do when the light came on, do you remember?
