auto A/C head unit
Will an '05 auto A/C control head unit work in an '04 with manual A/C controls?
Does the control head unit have it's own "computer" that will collect the temp., etc. to make it work, or are there other components neccessary for this swap besides just the control unit itself?

We discussed a like issue on another thread. Pretty much to go from manual controls to electronics, involves new wire harness, and different vacuum control components between the two types. My opinion was that it is not a plug and play type swap and would involve quite a bit of time reengineering.
Your case of going back to a 04, I could not comment on as I do not know what minor details changed with the 05-07 climate stuff.
