Steering wheel help needed

How deep is the dish on the steering wheel on the 57-60 trucks measured from the rim to the mounting lip that fits against the steering column? Also, will the splines on these trucks fit the later 61-66 columns? I need more room and I found a source for new steering wheels. If the earlier ones are flatter, it will solve some of my "belly" clearance problems in my '63.
Thanks for the help.

The steering wheel on my 59 Custom Cab has 3 5/8 inch from the top of the rim to the surface that meets the column. I don't have a later model to check the splines, but if I was a betting man I'd bet they are the same.

Steering wheel help needed

1957 lifeguard std. wheel straight across top down to center of horn button is 1 7/8". diameter is 18". straight across top to bottom of wheel (where it meets steering column) is 3 5/8". I have same problem. I would like to keep original wheel but it won't do me much good if my fat butt wont fit behind it. I am considering relocating gas tank and moving seat back and down. Does anybody know about wheel exchange. how about a interchange book.
