Question Question for the Tranny Guru's......

I was pulling my motor out and the torque convertor ended up coming out with the motor. It ended up spilling about a quart or more of tranny fluid. I put the torque convertor back on the tranny and re-installed the new motor. Didn't think about adding a qt of tranny fluid to the convertor
Will the tranny fill the convertor back up for me if I add the fluid to the tranny?
Its a E4OD in a 1991 Bronco. It goes into gear just fine, felt a little sluggish at first but I just want to make sure, I don't want to burn this convertor up, its new.

absoluely...the front pump will make sure the entire unit has fluid including the convertor.(that's the way they work).

As stated yes it will fill up just fine. Sonce it's a new piece I would change the fluid.

It's a good idea to install a new front tranny seal when it or the motor is out. It's just a good measure to take. If you hadn't already done so. If the motor has a one piece rear main seal I change those out as well.
