Weird noise..
Most of you know about me getting stuck.. And the blow out.. I have some weird noise now.. Whenever I turn my key over I hear this whine.. I think is the Fuel Pump? Normally it goes away in about 5-10 seconds.. Lately it stays on for awhile.. What is this noise? It has me a little worried.. This morning when I started up the truck and left it was shifting hard.. It wasn't smooth.. How long do I need to warm the truck up before I move? It wasn't really that cold here in central texas..

The noise or noises you are probably hearing are the injectors cycling when you first turn on the key and or the vacuum pump for the front hubs (on the passenger side fender) depending on your surroundings when you start the truck or if you have the door closed and radio on you may not have noticed it before. You just got your truck recently, correct? The injector noise can kind of be described as a clicking type whine. As far as warming up, unless its really cold, I only warm up maybe a minute and then go. I dont drive it hard until it is at normal temp and until it gets to normal temp, different shift characteristics are pretty normal. I wouldnt worry too much, what you describe sounds pretty normal to me.
