Need help with front shocks!!

Can somebody please tell me how to get the hose off of the shock absorber. I have an 01 with air suspension and the shock is unbolted. I have never changed these before and I don't want to break anything.
Thanks

Take a flat screwdriver and push in on the colored ring as you pull the hose out--should come fairly easily

Shock air line connector

Did that work for you--I'm going to do mine and I was wondering how to pull the line off.

Did you buy ford replacement or were you able to find a good after market brand. From what I read most people buy replacement from Ford. So I'm curious what you are replacing with

Thanks

I bought shocks at NAPA--seems to work just fine. However, I have spent my last penny on any more replacement parts for the LLS.

LLs

Thanks---I'll look there

Well I have 80K and I'd be replacing shocks on most any vehicle at around 80-100K with or w/o LLS. But I tow a lot and it's great for that purpose. In my case I've only had to replace one compressor relay, and compressor bracket, and a connector. Based on this forum maybe I've been lucky. I sure like the LLS when I load her down.

Thanks again for the quick reply
