Reverse lights don't work
1987 Ford F250 4x4 auto The reverse lights on both sides stopped working. I checked all the fuses with a meter-ok. Bulbs-ok. The rest of the tailight fuctions are working. What do I check for now??

How is your trailer light wiring conected to the truck wiring?If you have one of those t-splitters try unplugging it and plugging the wiring back in factory.
Sometimes those splitters will get moisture in them and fail. If they work with the splitter bypassed replace it and you should be good to go.
If your trailer wires are hacked in the old fashoned way check all your connections. Some trailers do have backup lights and a previous owner may have hacked into that circuit as well.
At least it is just your backup lights, nothing more dangerous like brake lights or running lights.
