Lift Kit Upgrade
If so, can you tell me how difficult the installation was for you and also let me know if you were satisfied with the product provided?
In an effort to increase my MPG, I recently changed out & increased the size of my rear tires from LT245/75R to LT265/75R. Although I was very satisfied with the .15 percent increase in MPG that these larger tires provided. Unfortunately, even though I've already installed new shocks & front springs on my truck within the past year. The front end of my truck still sits just a little bit too low to accomodate the same size tires that I'm running on the back. So, it really looks to me like I'm going to need to purchase & install some type of a lift kit that will provide me with the clearance I need to run the same tires on the front end.
Since I'm very sure that 3" of lift will be more than enough to do the trick. I was hoping that I might find some useful information, advice and/or recommendations from someone who has already completed this type of a project.
Any information anyone has about this particular lift kit or about this type of an upgrade project. Would certainly be gratefully accepted and sincerely appreciated!
Happy New Year to Everyone!!!

They make lifts for 2wds, but they aren't cheap. What you could do is put some coil spring spacers in between the springs. This would lift it up enough to put those 265s on there. I did this to my 77 and put some 31x10.50s on there with no problems.
The coil spring spacers isn't the best way of going about this, but it the cheapest/easiest.
