i dont know.. any more i dont know if it shifts right or wrong cuz when it hits 2nd gear when floored it seems to go right into lock up and it just seems like that just takes forever to shift? is itsupoose to go right into lock up? then over drive really kinda slams in to over drive? yeah i know its a ford tranny i wish i had a stick :-/
Mine shifts like a normal gasser trans when at WOT. Revs up to near redline and goes up a gear. When my FILP was out of adjustment (after changing IP pump), shifting was really bad and off. Did you make any changes recently? Was it shifting right before and this just started happening?
well 1-2 gears shift really slow.... when floored goes up to 3200 shifts falls slowly back to 2600 about then goes again then abotu 3200 then it slowly falls into 3rd i have my tps around 1.3 soo it would shift harder and it dditn make a differece sept harder at lower rpms then overdrive feels like it comes outta lock up then wams into overdrive? i think its almost dead lol
i use this truck to deliver pizzas in LOL .. soo its constianttly runnin... does floorin the truck hurt the motor ????? i mean i alwasy have in operating temp b4 im mean to it but ive been getttin on it quite a bit? shouldent hurt it right? what do you guys think...
Sounds like you have one or more of the "sensors" out. Is your o/d lite flashing on the shift leaver? You can always get the codes read. The trans needs the tac to be working correctly, the VSS and the FIPL in correct adjustment. If you have gone into "failure " mode, do not drive, you will fry the T/C and other things.
the only senser should be bad i think its the speed senser cuz.. it jumps up and down once you hit 80
new tach new fipl.... No blinkin lights i actually seriously think its just tired
