Wondering what are you all planning to get done in 07.
Truck wise I have to get my 57 done and possibly my 49, 53, 58, 67, 69 well see how far I get.
Job wise I must get my 1A this year and if SIAST calls me go get my 1st year electrician. And earn the most money I can without having to move from the farm.
Relationship wise no plans don't really care as of yet.
If I can find out where and when exactly my 57 was made I will take a Trucation (Truck+Vacation) since it will be its 50th birthday. That would be so cool I eally hope I can do that.
Just to be thankful for the good life that we, my wife and I have together. Other than that I can`t think of anything other than get my 56M100 back together at least enough to drive soon.
that all sounds pretty good Snow, me, im not sure yet......i definetly want to get my hours so as to qualify for my C ticket for sure. i need to do 800hrs of work, working only part time, in 9 months. think i can do it. i really want to get accepted into this course that gets me my first year millwright.
truckwise, maybe get the 79 on the road, cause she s just rotting away. i really doubt im at all going to be allowed a non running vehicle on the yard, so it falls to jumpstart my uncle into finishing his 29. or starting the restoration of my grampas buick. then maybe he'll jump in too!
Hint....Sask is so much closer!
Besides, we need your tax dollars....Alberta doesn`t but will still take them if you have any left after the cost of living there.
That`s too bad but at least you`ll be closer. Let us know when you`re passing through here. Are you coming through Saskatoon?
How about joining the Man/Sask chapter? We have members from Ont and BC here but none yet from Alberta.
My plan is to finish the basement and a few other Home projects. Also hope to find a 48 -52 pickup that I can start on, or if I am lucky I wont have to do anything.
Too much to list. Bidding on a burnt '93 F250 4x4 for a conversion of the PSD. THat'll be a big one. Finish house renos and get my next engineering exam out of the way.
Oh yeah, try to have some fun too.
Quit the job I'm at go to work in Alberta make some money. Build garage Then I can fix the trucks I have sitting around like the 80 4x4 (needs a motor) maybe look at some work on the 76 highboy. Get my bike running right again. The good looking partner says fix stuff in the house. You guys know the usual stuff. Spend quality time with my girls when I am home.
Hmm im not sure well i have a few im sure there will be more in the future but for now pay off my truck, do something with exhaust, hopefully get another ford truck maybe a old one this time keep plugging away at work and school and thats about it for me...
Man where do I start. Build a deck on house, build dog kennel. Put more metal roof on house. Build loft and heated area in quonset and move half of my wifes shop into the quoset. Plant more trees. Build a new drivway onto the acreage, Finish restoring a friends chebby truck cab. Get my 78 running and back on the road, Get the body work done on my 85 with those 8ft stepsides. If My 78 is on the road may park the 85 and do work on it slowly. Take the blacksmith course in MArch. Man there are other things to do still araound here. Going to be a full year here. Maybe I won't be hitting that 300lb mark. Be nice to be a swelt 200lbs again.
